Kelley Park is a 176-acre facility located at 1300 Senter Road between Story and Phelan. Attractions with Kelley Park include Happy Hollow Park and Zoo, The Japanese Friendship Garden and History Park. Parking is $6.00 per vehicle. Reservation Information call 408-277-2757

There are six (6) reservable group picnic areas that can accommodate from 30 to 200 people as well as non-reservable picnic sites that are available first-come, first-serve. Alcoholic beverages are allowed in picnic areas only and are limited to beer and wine.

For Groups up to 30 people:

The Maple Leaf Picnic Area is located between the Japanese Friendship Garden and History Park. It has four tables and two small barbecues.

Reservations for this area must be made in person at Leininger Center located in Kelley Park at 1300 Senter Road. Office hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:00a.m. to 2:00p.m.

The Redwood Grove Picnic Area is located between Leininger Center and the Japanese Friendship Garden. It has five tables, one large prep table and one large barbecue.

The Manual Briar Picnic Area is located on the west side of Leininger Center. It has eight tables, a prep table and one large barbecue.

Reservations for this area must be made in person at Leininger Center located in Kelley Park at 1300 Senter Road. Office hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:00a.m. to 2:00p.m.

The Arbor Picnic Area is located between the restrooms and the Ranger Station. It has nine tables, a prep table and one large barbecue.

The Twin Oaks Picnic Area is adjacent to the main parking lot. It has twelve tables, a prep table and one large barbecue.

Family Circle Picnic Area is located near the Japanese Friendship Garden. It has sixteen tables, one large prep table and an extra-large barbecue.

KELLEY PARK AMPHITHEATER

Accommodations for Groups up to 200 people:

Kelley Park's Amphitheater is an outdoor Greek-style amphitheater (in the round) with large, recessed cement steps, surrounded by large trees. This area is available for group use beginning in September, after Labor Day, through the end of May prior to Memorial Day. This site is available during the months of June, July and August only with reservation of the Okayama Room.
