FAQ for Regional Skate Park*

 

 

1. When will the park open?

The Grand Opening will be On April 26th, 2008.

2. How much will it cost?

The Park will cost $50 for an annual Pass, $2 for a Day pass. Cards will be issued to both daily and Annual users.

3. I heard spectators will be charged, is that true?

Yes, there will be a $2 donation for Spectators inside the park.

4. Once open, what will the hours of operation be?

Hours will vary by season but the park will be open 7 days a week from late morning until sunset; weather permitting. For More information see the main page marked 'index.'
  
5. Are skater liability waivers needed to skate at the park?

Yes, all skaters under the age of 18 need to have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.  The waiver must be signed at the skate park and witnessed by staff.  If a parent is unable to sign the form in the presence of staff the form may be notarized. 

6. Will pads be required?

Yes, a helmet and elbow and knee pads will be required to skate.

7. Will BMX bikes be allowed?

Yes, there will be bike-only sessions scheduled during the week.  BMX bikes will be not be allowed into bowls with pool coping.

8. How big is the full-pipe?

72 feet long and 22 feet wide.
