The Highway 87 Bikeway is not formally part of the City's Trail System, but does offer connections to some City Trails.

The Highway 87 Bikeway allows bicyclists to ride form Willow Street to Santa Teresa Boulevard, along Highway 87. There are dedicated bicycle paths along the east side of Highway 87 between Willow Street and Curtner Road, between Carol Drive (at Garden Ave.) and Hillsdale Avenue, and between Branham Lane and Ohlone-Chynoweth light rail station. The Bikeway continues along Curtner and Garden Avenues to Carol Drive. There are on-street bicycle lanes along Narvaez between Hillsdale Avenue and Branham Lane. Use Curtner and Garden Avenues between Curtner Avenue and Carol Drive.
