The River Oaks Pathway serves as a link between North First Street (River Oaks Light Rail Station) and the City of Santa Clara's Rivermark area.  The pathway crosses over the Guadalupe River and includes several observation and seating areas.

The recently installed bridge across the river was a joint project of the City of San Jose, City of  Santa Clara, Santa Clara Valley Water District, and the Valley Transportation Authority.  The path is great for walking, running, cycling and skating.  Bicycle commuters can use the River Oaks Pathway to connect to bicycle lanes on North First Street and River Oaks Parkway.
