From Lonus Street to Minnesota Avenue
Parcels (0.90 mile) were acquired in December 2011 to support develpment of a cross-town trail system. Future planning and design work will lead to construction of a paved and landscaped trail system similar to Albertson Parkway Trail and Lower Silver Creek Trail. The linear properties permit access from cross streets (Lonus Street, Coe Avenue, Broadway Avenue, Willow Street, with some frontage along Hilton Way and Delmas Avenue.

This first completed reach ( 0.35 mile) of the cross-town trail system includes a standard 12' wide paved trail that links to a widened detached path. Enter the trail from Minnesota Avenue. The trail currently leads to a cul-de-sac, the connection to Guadalupe River Trail will occur once that trail system is developed. Development of the eastern reaches of the trail system depend on further property property acquisition.
