  Trail-Finding Toolkit
City of San Jose trail information: Regional trail information
Option A: Use the interactive trail network map to find trails anywhere in San Jose. VTA Bikeways Map: Use the VTA bikeways map to find trails throughout Santa Clara County. This map also shows on-street bike lanes for route-finding between off-street trails.
Option B: Search by name in the table below. Open StreetMap: Browse existing region-wide trails in an interactive, web-based map hosted at ArcGIS.com. NOTE: This is an unverified, open-source map that does not show all existing trails and should not be relied on for wayfinding. Please refer to the City-prepared trail maps for detailed trail descriptions.
Option C: View City of San José trails in Google Earth.
Use the "+" symbols in your "Temporary Places" (left-side panel) to locate and explore the trails.

Bay Area Ridge Trail (interactive trail map): San José's trails are part of a 550-mile network that, when completed, will encircle the SF Bay. The web map includes links to trail descriptions and detailed trail maps for the various existing portions of the route, including trails in San Jose.

Regional Trails (interactive trail map): The State of California provides this tool for finding trails and parks throughout the Golden State.
